Giving Back

There is nothing worse than to have a beautiful life interrupted by a medical condition that most have not even heard of, much less understand.  Unfortunately, that has happened twice in my family.  As a result, I have made it my mission to support organizations that contribute to the research and understanding of these two conditions so that others in the future have a place to go for answers and hopefully, successful treatment.  Nonnie’s Italian Bakery is proud to dedicate a portion of our profits to these two important non-profits.  We hope that you will join us in showing your support.  We also make frequent product donations in the community.

Chromosome 18’s mission is to help individuals with chromosome 18 abnormalities overcome the obstacles they face, so they may lead healthy and productive lives. Their mission has three facets: building community, expanding education, and advancing research. Their shared vision is that one day, children with chromosome 18 abnormalities will have the same aspirations and achievements in life as their siblings.

The Bobby Jones Chiari & Syringomyelia Foundation (Bobby Jones CSF) works to advance knowledge through research and to educate the medical, allied sciences and lay community about Chiari malformation, syringomyelia and related disorders. Since it’s founding in 2007, over $6 million in donations have been used for research, patient support, awareness and education.
